Me on Me
Let's fast-forward to my great awakening. My time at Vassar College was quite formative. There, I majored in film theory and philosophy, pivoting from a math-and-science nerd by way of the California Academy of Math and Science to a more abstract spirit. I authored four thought-provoking visual art pieces, one of which was titled Premillennial Dispensationalism, and produced four films. My academic pursuits in film, social, critical, and queer theories have granted me keen insight into the societal and material dimensions of consumption—or how I learned to stop worrying and love political economy. Rooted in a belief of radical humanism, I have nurtured a perspective that values the power of change and empathy. My professional journey encompasses nearly a decade of diverse writing and editing experience, from advertising to academia to technical compositions, and a relatively brief foray into project management. Now, my path is leading to Product Management—a domain that embodies innovation and constant evolution. In this relatively nascent and dynamic field, I see endless opportunities to engage with a multitude of people and truly comprehend who they are and what they need. I feel my penchant for unconventional thinking will thrive in this environment, where it's genuinely appreciated. In terms of goals, my aspiration in this field is to be recognized for making a tangible impact, turning my potential into actuation. My motivation lives in crafting solutions that enrich people's lives, transcending mere convenience, rather lending to purpose. Witnessing a collective concept come to life is one of the most gratifying feelings—and it's this feeling, driven by the collaborative spirit, that transpires when we move past ego and nurture growth. Envisioning a career that allows me to flourish, I seek a role where my innate and acquired skills are put to use. It's about doing something different, feeling the rush of motivation through exploring untapped arenas, and ultimately making an impact. A desire to produce consequential things and ideas fuels my journey, while the prospect of continuous improvement and progression remains my north star. Now, let's get serious. What I love: fresh ideas, learning, dense theory, and lifting weights. Often called “tiny but mighty,” I’ve deadlifted 2.5 times my bodyweight—not to gloat. EDUCATION
